RayCast#

I replaced Spotlight with RayCast, a versatile launcher that enhances productivity with extensions and plugins.

To install RayCast, download it from RayCast.com and follow the setup instructions.

I disabled RayCast's window management and clipboard history features since I use separate tools for those tasks.

RayCast Setup#

After installation:

• Configure RayCast by changing the keyboard shortcut to Command + Space.
• Disable Spotlight's shortcut to avoid conflicts.

RayCast learns and prioritizes frequently used apps, and includes useful built-in features like a calculator and quick web searches.
